General Booking Terms & Conditions

Agreement

By proceeding with your payment, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These policies help us manage logistics effectively and ensure the best possible experience for all our guests.

Booking Confirmation

• 50% down payment required to secure your booking
• Payment must be completed at least one day before your scheduled tour
• No down payment = No tour confirmation
• We cannot accommodate guests who have not completed their down payment

Booking Cut-off Times

To ensure proper preparation and coordination:

• Dugong + Black Island Tour: 6:00 PM (day before)
• All other tours: 8:00 PM (day before)
• No on-the-spot bookings accepted

Payment Policy

Down Payment Requirements

• 50% down payment required to confirm booking
• Must be paid minimum one day before scheduled tour
• Payment secures your spot and covers advance logistical arrangements

Final Payment

• Remaining balance due on tour day
• Cash payment preferred
• We make advance arrangements and incur costs to operate each trip

Refund Processing

• Eligible refunds processed within 5-7 business days
• Refunds issued via original payment method when possible
• Bank transfer fees may apply for international transactions

• Cancel day of tour or no-show: Full payment charged, no refunds available

REEF & WRECKS FREEDIVING TOUR

• Cancel day of tour or fail to show: Full payment charged (last-minute cancellations cannot be accommodated)

DUGONG ENCOUNTER TOURS

Due to the specialized nature of wildlife encounters, requiring coordination with conservation efforts and limited availability.

Dugong + Black Island Tour / Dugong + Dimipac Island

Last-Minute Cancellations:If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled encounter or fail to show up, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable.

Why This Policy Exists:

• We reserve limited spots and often turn away other interested guests
• Wildlife encounters require significant planning and coordination
• Last-minute cancellations leave little opportunity to rebook your slot
• Specialized equipment and crew coordination needed

To Avoid Cancellation Fees:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for full refund or can be rescheduled (subject to availability)
• Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or make changes

Rescheduling Policy

Participant-Initiated Changes

• More than 24 hours notice: Free rescheduling subject to availability
• Less than 24 hours notice: Subject to cancellation fees as outlined above
• Same-day changes: Generally not possible due to logistics

Weather-Related Changes

• PalaOne-initiated cancellations: Full refund or free rescheduling offered
• Safety concerns: We prioritize participant safety and reserve the right to modify itineraries
• Before tour begins: Full refund or rescheduling options provided
• After tour commenced: No refunds if we're forced to cancel, cut short, or modify due to safety

Special Circumstances

No Refunds for Personal Circumstances

We cannot provide refunds for:

• Illness or injuries
• Travel delays or missed flights
• Change of personal plans
• Weather conditions beyond our control
• Personal equipment issues

Force Majeure

In cases of extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions:

• Tours may be cancelled for safety reasons
• Full refund or rescheduling options provided
• We'll work with you to find alternative arrangements

• Group size reductions may affect pricing
