At PalaOne Freediving, we're committed to providing exceptional freediving experiences while maintaining fair and transparent booking policies. Our updated terms reflect the operational requirements needed to deliver consistent, high-quality adventures. Please review carefully before making your reservation.

General Booking Terms & Conditions

Agreement

By proceeding with your payment, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These policies help us manage logistics effectively and ensure the best possible experience for all our guests.

Booking Confirmation

• A Booking Assurance Fee of ₱1,500 per person is required for all trips and must be paid at least one (1) week before the chosen travel date.
• Full payment (100%) is required one (1) day before the trip.
• The ₱1,500 Booking Assurance Fee will still apply if you choose to reschedule or cancel your trip.
• Rescheduling is not guaranteed for joiner trips. Approval is subject to the availability of slots and the required number of participants.
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within one (1) day of the trip.
• For trips that are rescheduled for any reason, an additional ₱1,500 fee is required to continue with the booking. Rescheduling remains subject to availability.
• No booking assurance fee payment = No tour confirmation
• We cannot accommodate guests who have not settled their Booking Assurance Fee

Booking Cut-off Times

To ensure proper preparation and coordination:

• Dugong + Black Island Tour: 6:00 PM (day before)
• All other tours: 8:00 PM (day before)
• No on-the-spot bookings accepted

Payment Policy

Down Payment Requirements

• ₱1,500 Booking Assurance Fee per person required for all trips
• Must be paid at least one (1) week before your chosen travel date
• Fee is non-refundable and applies to all trips (tours, training, expeditions)
• Fee applies even if you reschedule or cancel your trip
• Payment secures your spot and covers advance logistical arrangements

Final Payment

• Remaining balance due one (1) day before your tour day
• We make advance arrangements and incur costs to operate each trip

Refund Processing

• Eligible refunds processed within 5-7 business days
• Refunds issued via original payment method when possible
• Bank transfer fees may apply for international transactions
• Booking Assurance Fee (₱1,500) is non-refundable under all circumstances
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within one (1) day of the trip

Rescheduling Policy

Participant-Initiated Changes

• More than 24 hours notice: Free rescheduling subject to availability
• Less than 24 hours notice: Subject to cancellation fees as outlined above
• Same-day changes: Generally not possible due to logistics

Weather-Related Changes

• PalaOne-initiated cancellations: Full refund or free rescheduling offered
• Safety concerns: We prioritize participant safety and reserve the right to modify itineraries
• Before tour begins: Full refund or rescheduling options provided
• After tour commenced: No refunds if we're forced to cancel, cut short, or modify due to safety

Special Circumstances

No Refunds for Personal Circumstances

We cannot provide refunds for:

• Illness or injuries
• Travel delays or missed flights
• Change of personal plans
• Weather conditions beyond our control
• Personal equipment issues
• Cancellations made within one (1) day of the trip

Force Majeure

In cases of extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions:

• Tours may be cancelled for safety reasons
• Full refund or rescheduling options provided
• We'll work with you to find alternative arrangements

Group Bookings

Private Group Policies

• Minimum group sizes may apply
• Custom cancellation terms available for large groups
• Advance booking required (recommended 1-2 weeks)
• Special rates available for groups of 6+ participants

Partial Group Cancellations

• Rescheduling is not guaranteed for joiner trips. Approval is subject to the availability of slots and the required number of participants
• Individual cancellations within groups subject to standard policies
• Group size reductions may affect pricing. We'll work to accommodate reasonable changes.
• For trips that are rescheduled for any reason, an additional ₱1,500 fee is required to continue with the booking.
